Already Teaching on an Alternative License

Professional Development Institute

For current or former Alternative Resident Educator License holders progressing to a five-year professional teaching license.

What is the PDI?

The Professional Development Institute (PDI) is built for educators who are already teaching on an Alternative Resident Educator License and are ready to earn their five-year professional license.

Through six competencies tied to the Ohio Standards for the Teaching Profession, you'll deepen your practice and complete the requirements for your professional license — at your own pace, entirely online.
